Today I've selected designer Georges Chakra viewed on Fashion TV for trends in couture eveningwear this fall/winter season 2012/2013. Whether or not this designer is above one’s pay grade is by the by… the ideas and concepts are superb. Later this week we’ll be looking at Ready to Wear….let us know what you think.
Georges Chakra’s evening wear is in a league of its own … as Steve Jobs would say “It’s all about taste” . The dresses are classy, classic, and sexy with blacks, deep burgundy wine reds, long gold, pristine whites for singular color looks. The devil is in the details with net long sleeves and sides, above knee skirts, long flowing dresses, tasteful sequins, black feather, that are not over the top; French leg cuts , open backs, matching high heels and platforms. We’re talking about simple color combinations, clear concepts, that are extremely elegant with continuity throughout. Overall evening wear with very classic lines and 21st century day adaptations.
AS much as there’s an enormous demand for white gold and silver colored jewelry of late. Yellow gold, rose gold chokers and pearls have to be a definite choice for evening wear of this caliber. With such a stark singular color backdrop any classic jewelry with color will pop big time.
If you can splash out, a pink oval diamond and pristine white pave halo ring, will simply scream on the finger.
White pear shape drop earrings with pink pave round brilliants will grab the attention of a five block radius.
